What browser storage does here, what stays only in the page, and what belongs to your school portal.
This overview covers the public Elevon website. It does not replace a school’s privacy notice, signed service agreement or other applicable terms. Commercial service policies must be confirmed before a new subscription begins.
Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small values a website can ask a browser to retain and return with later requests. Local storage is a separate browser feature that can remember preferences on a device. These technologies are different from temporary React state, which powers this website’s local interactive controls.
The public website
Pricing-period selection, role previews, mobile navigation and enquiry preparation use temporary page state. These marketing features do not create subscription cookies, save enquiry drafts to local storage or introduce advertising and analytics trackers.
The existing application can remember a display-theme preference in local storage under the key theme. The marketing design has its own scoped visual treatment and does not overwrite your portal’s saved theme preference.
Sign-in and school portals
Authentication may use session and security-related cookies when you access sign-in or an existing account. School portals also use selection cookies, such as elevon_sid for an academic session and elevon_child for a selected child where applicable.
These existing application features are separate from marketing-page controls. This website does not change their behaviour, expiration, authorization checks or security settings. A selection cookie is not itself permission to view a school or child’s information.
Your browser controls
You can inspect or remove cookies and local storage through your browser’s settings. Blocking or deleting authentication or selection cookies may sign you out, reset a preference or affect school-portal functionality.
Clearing a local enquiry from this page does not delete a copy that you have already downloaded, copied elsewhere or sent by email. Those copies are managed in the device or service where you placed them.
